She is an advocate, assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with safety planning, court accompaniment, navigating systems and support.
Prior to her appointment to the Office for Women, Nancy was the District Director for County Executive George Latimer during his Assembly and Senate years. As district director, Nancy was responsible for overseeing the functions of the office, supervision of staff, scheduling and attending community meetings.
For the majority of her career, Nancy was involved in government, as district director for Assembly Member Adam Bradley, running the campaign office for Congresswomen Nita Lowey, one of the founders of the Village of Rye Brook and a Village Trustee.
Nancy started her career as a caseworker/senior caseworker for Westchester County DSS in 1969. She left in 1975 to raise her family while actively volunteering for many organizations and Boards. When Senator Latimer became County Executive, she returned to her first passion--helping people needing help.
