Peer leadership programs and school-based education and prevention programs for teens offered by agencies located in Westchester County. 

STAR Program
A program run by Hope's Door (formerly Northern Westchester Shelter) whose goal is to promote healthy, non-violent family life by assisting people in crisis; by breaking the cycle of abusive behavior; by advocacy and community education; and by developing innovative, responsive services, thereby empowering victims to live free from abuse.  

SAFER Program
A program run by My Sisters' Place made up of a diverse group of male and female high school-aged teens representing schools throughout Westchester County. A forum to learn, discuss, educate, and apply what is learned through formal training and group exercises to raise awareness in schools and communities about violence in relationships, families, and violence in general.
